Volunteer & Fundraising Requirements
Munising Hockey is a volunteer-run organization. Every family plays an important role in helping make our season successful.
Volunteer Hours
- 20 volunteer hours are required per family each season.
- Learn-to-Skate families are required to complete 10 volunteer hours.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Concessions
- Tournaments
- Scorekeeping
- Fundraising events
- Special events
- Other Association activities as needed
All families are also expected to participate in Association fundraising activities, including:
- Wreath Fundraiser
- Pizza Kit Fundraiser
- Raffle Ticket Fundraiser
Families with players on teams hosting a home tournament may be assigned a minimum of two (2) volunteer hours during the tournament by the Tournament Director or Tournament Committee.
FAMILIES FROM OUTSIDE OF ALGER COUNTY ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DO VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS. HOWEVER, THEY ARE STILL REQUIRED TO DO THE FUNDRAISERS.
